Early Entry allows guests staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel (Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, or Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel) access to a theme park 30 minutes before that park opens to the public.
This means that if a park officially opens at 8:00 a.m., guests staying at the above Disney Resort Hotels are able to access attractions starting at 7:30 a.m. through Early Entry.
Currently both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park offer Early Entry access every day of the week. Starting January 20, 2024, only one of the two parks will be open for Early Entry, and the park offering Early Entry will vary by day.
If you participate in any of these Early Entry windows, we recommend that you arrive at least 90 minutes prior to official park opening (that is, 30 minutes before you can enter the park) to ensure that you are among the first to enter and enjoy the full 30 minutes of lower attendance.
If you do this, you'll be able to get on one or two of your favorite rides with little or no wait, and you'll be able to get in line for a third ride before the park opens to the general public. That's a HUGE advantage over those who arrive at the park at opening time.
The following charts list the usual roster of attractions for Early Entry. Note that unexpected downtime and scheduled closures can impact availability on any given day.
Note that at Disneyland Park the Early Entry attractions are located in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. Expect attractions in other Disneyland lands to remain off-limits until official park opening.
